Wave Exams

On Tuesday of this week, we held the final ‘practice’ exams in English and Maths for all of the students studying GCSEs this summer. Given students were having an English Literature (2 hours 15 minutes) and maths (1 hour 30 minutes) on the same day, we allowed them a later start and an earlier finish to the day. Exams are challenging for many students, and we do try to conduct them in a personable way making adjustments for individuals who suffer exam anxiety. I would like to thanks our ‘Exams Team’ in school: Mr Johnson who leads this area and Mrs Taylor our fabulous exams officer who recruits and trains our invigilators.
