World Book Day
Last Thursday, we celebrated World Book Day through a number of different initiatives. Students in Years 7-11 listened to an audio recording (read by staff) from ‘May Malone’ by David Almond at the start of each lesson, which linked to last week’s ‘slow down’ themed assembly. All students were also invited to collect a book voucher from the LRB and a code-cracking treasure hunt took place after school. In the Sixth Form, students raised money for the British Dyslexia Association and were involved in a student led quiz. We have a strong reading culture at Trinity and it was great to see this celebrated on this day throughout the school.
