World Maths Day
Teachers of Maths, Ms Rimmer and Ms Barnett tell us more: “The Maths department recently took part in a global online maths competition to celebrate World Maths Day. This consisted of 20 different tasks – each with a goal of getting as many questions correct as possible in 60 seconds.
Well done to Rosa (Year 12) Winston (Year 11), Jia (Year 10), Aedan, (Year 9) and Lily (Year 8) who all came top of their year group. A massive congratulations to Daisy, Year 7, who not only came top in her year but received the highest score in the school. Over 9000 schools around the globe took part, and thanks to the many participants from Trinity, as a school we placed on average 60th in the world. This is a huge achievement and one we look forward to continuing next year. Thank you for helping us celebrate Trinity!”
