Year 9 STEM Competition

Course Director of KS3 Science, Ms Walker, tells us about a Year 9 STEM competition:

“Last week, 12 Year 9 students took part in a STEM competition at Manchester University. They were working with students from other schools, completing challenges in areas such as robotics, medical diagnos-tics and forensics. Trinity students did exceptionally well, with 4 of our stu-dents winning awards for achieving the highest in individual challenges. The biggest award went to Zuriel and Natalie, whose team won the whole chal-lenge day – they will now progress onto the National Competition next year. Well done to all the Year 9s who took part, they were a credit to Trinity!’
