Curriculum

At the heart of every outstanding school is an outstanding curriculum taught by outstanding teachers; one that moves with the times, is not afraid to offer challenges, instils a passion for learning and ignites intellectual curiosity. Our curriculum is designed around our students’ needs with an emphasis on demanding academic subjects which we see as the best possible route to both university and future employment.

Our uniqueness is shown in our emphasis on the arts; visual, musical and performing, all of which play an important part in the first three years at Trinity. These creative subjects are complemented by our strength in the scientific, mathematical, computing and engineering areas, where students have access to the most up-to-date resources in fully equipped laboratories and workspaces.

Modern technology has a natural place in our curriculum. We aim to foster an awareness of its potential and an appreciation of its part in society. It is also our aim to ensure that all students become confident users of ICT on completion of their education.

The school has full International School Award status from the British Council. We pride ourselves on the extensive opportunities students have to develop their language skills and to become a valued member of the worldwide community. The emphasis on music in the school is reflected by the large number of students pursuing instrumental tuition. We aim to provide a curriculum that motivates and encourages creativity, and offers appropriate challenge to children of all abilities.
