Christmas Showcase Concert

From Director of Music, Mrs Madden: “Over 90 pupils showcased their amazing talents in a wonderful Christmas Celebration concert on Wednesday 7th December. We enjoyed stellar performances from the Stage Band, with Christmas classics such as Frosty the Snowman and Let it Snow, as well as some of our training ensembles: steel pans, strings, woodwind and guitar groups performed together in public for the first time – we are so proud of their confidence and courage! The Year 9 band embraced the festive spirit with a brilliant rendition of Jingle Bell Rock and the finale saw the whole audience join in with our Band Skills ensemble, singing Merry Christmas Everyone! A great night was had by all. Thank you to those who supported the event, to all the peripatetic music teachers and to our amazing pupils for sharing their gifts this Christmas.”
