Inclusion and Inspiration Conference
Teacher of English, Ms Wilson, tells us more: “On Friday, 17th January, students from Year 10 represented Trinity CE High School at the University of Manchester Inclusion and Inspiration Conference. They had researched and written their own speeches about the importance of inclusion in secondary schools. They covered a variety of aspects such as race, gender, mental health and behaviour. They spoke very confidently in front of a lecture theatre full of teachers and were congratulated for their eloquence! This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to develop their communication skills and share their opinions about important issues in our community.” Following the conference, we were delighted to be presented with a ‘keynote speaker’ award, shown below.
