Our P.E Assistant, Mr Bryan, tells us some of the latest sporting news:

“Another busy week for the Trinity sports teams with mixed outcomes:

• Our KS4 boys’ basketball team secured a win by beating the Communication Academy, 25 – 20, in a very exciting match.
• The Year 11 girls had much more quality than St Bede’s, Blackburn, in round one of The English Schools’ Football Cup, winning 8 – 1.
• The Year 9 boys’ football team were also in action in The English Schools’ Cup, and were very unlucky to be beaten 2 – 1 by St Monica’s, Bury, in a thrilling match.
• On the same night, our U14s girls’ basketball team (pictured on the right) showed great quality in beating Parrs Wood 46 – 14 in their first match of the season.”
