Year 10 Architecture Day 2026

From Head of Engineering, Mr Barnes:

“The Engineering Department recently hosted the 2026 Year 10 Architecture Day. Some of our students who have shown a keen interest in a career in architecture and the built environment, and spent a day working with an international architecture company called HTA.

The day gave our students a fascinating insight into the world of architecture. We had career presentations by visiting professionals who work in architecture, structural engineering and town planning. We then went on a site visit and looked at a fantastic example of modern architecture at Circle Square in Manchester.

The afternoon session was a design competition, where our students worked in teams to produce architectural designs and models of their creative ideas for a site right next to Trinity. The day finished with the teams of students presenting their ideas to the visiting professionals.”
