On Wednesday 21 October, students will have the opportunity to attend the Black Boys’ Faith & Wellbeing Summit at Ascension Church, Hulme. The event brings together inspirational speakers, mentors and community leaders who are passionate about supporting young people to thrive in education, faith, wellbeing and personal development. Among the contributors are Christie Spurling MBE, founder of N-Gage, who was inspired by his own experiences of educational exclusion and the care system to champion young people facing barriers to success; Otis Thomas, entrepreneur, qualified mentor and Managing Director of T.A.P. Project; and Godfrey Pambalipe, musician, storyteller and creative practitioner with Afrocats, who uses music, dance and culture to build confidence and creativity.

We welcome boys in Years 10 to 13, from all faith backgrounds and none, to attend. Further details and registration information can be found in the announcement on Class Charts.
