A spectacular week of High School Musical at Trinity

Last week, Trinity High School presented Disney’s High School Musical on Stage! A dedicated cast and crew of 132 students sang, played and danced their hearts out to sold-out audiences over five performances, including over 100 primary school children from St Philip’s CE and Rolls Crescent. From the hilarious antics of Jack and Joe Scott to the rivalry between Ms Darbus, the drama teacher and Coach Bolton of the East High basketball team, the audiences watched as Gabriella and Troy struggled to break free of the status quo to discover who they truly are.

Every single performance was a truly joyful occasion with the most pupils and staff ever involved in a school production and an amazing student-only pit band. Audience members were moved to tears by the authenticity of the acting, the beauty of the singing and the sheer energy of the whole ensemble dancing and celebrating together. The lyrics “We’re all in this together; we’re not the same, we’re different in a good way – together’s where we belong” certainly resonated with our Trinity Together values and we are so proud of every single member of the company, who made new friends and grew so much in confidence throughout the process. They are all superstars. Thank you to everyone who helped make this show possible and to all our fantastic audiences. Go Wildcats!
