Advent Carol Service

Our annual advent carol service took place earlier this week, on Monday, 4th December, at the stunning St Ann’s church in central Manchester. The congregation were treated to a range of performances by the choir, chamber choir, brass group and a trumpet solo by Year 11 student, Charlotte Wheater.

Following the service, the rector of St Ann’s church, Revd Canon Nigel Ashworth, led the congregation outside the church to bless the crib and to sing ‘O Little Town Of Bethlehem’. Our thanks go to our Chaplain, Revd Steve Birkinshaw, Head of Music, Ms Brown and all of the music department staff and students who were involved in putting together this tremendous event in the life of the school.
