Y12 Drama Students

“Our Year 12 Acting students completed their exam performance of My Mother Said I Never Should by Charlotte Keatley. Delivering an engaging hour-long production, the performance was influenced by the practitioners Stanislavski and Frantic Assembly, exploring four powerful journeys of motherhood.

Thea, Elizabeth, Ayana and Iris have been developing their work since January, creating believable and memorable characters that deeply resonated with the audience. Their innovative staging and use of audience interaction ensured everyone experienced the emotions of the piece alongside them.

The performance was both moving and showcased the students’ dedication and talent. Well done to all involved on creating such an emotive, engaging and highly successful performance.”
