Big Band on the Wall

“Well Done to the Trinity Stage Band for their fantastic performance at the One Education Network celebration event at Band on the Wall on Tuesday 23rd June. 22 amazingly talented musicians represented Trinity at this iconic venue, performing the Latin American Mas Que Nada, (channelling the summer heat wave vibes!), as well as a Bossa/Swing version of My Funny Valentine. We finished our set with funk classic Superstition by Stevie Wonder which had the whole venue on their feet!

Congratulations to Phoebe Y10 (guitar) and Edwin Y7 (keys) who featured in the National Youth Jazz Orchestra Jam Collective – what a great achievement. Well done to the many band members who performed improvised solos and to all the performers from Parrs Wood, Co-op, Chorlton High, Wright Robinson and Loreto College. It was a fabulous collaborative celebration of young people and jazz in our city.”
