Languages at the University of Manchester

“Year 10 students recently enjoyed a visit to the University of Manchester, to give them an insight into university life and inspire them to consider languages at A-level. The day included a presentation on the value of studying languages, followed by a Q&A session with current undergraduates. Students then had a tour of the campus and experienced a taster in a new language, and took part in a creative film subtitling workshop in one of the university’s computer clusters. It was a great experience and we hope it inspires them to continue studying languages!”
