Anthology Book Launch

LRB and Media Manager, Mr Richardson, tells us more:

“Say hello to Trinity’s newly-published writers. Last week, we celebrated the launch of A Recollection of Little Accidents – our students’ anthology of short stories and poems produced in partnership with writing charity First Story. Between October and March our writers completed a 16-week programme of creative writing workshops with award-winning poet and performer, Ben Mellor, and it’s that work that has culminated in this very impressive book. That’s not all they’ve been up to: they’ve attended writing festivals at the University of Cambridge and MMU, collaborated with a variety of professional wordsmiths, learned about creative careers and some have performed to hundreds of their peers.

Incredibly, Eliana in Year 9 has won a fully-funded place on a week-long writing residential in Yorkshire in the summer – congratulations Eliana! This is our third year of working with First Story and once again there’s an enormous amount to celebrate. We’re looking forward to going again next year.”
