AS Level Resits

From Deputy Head, Dr Chard: “In the Autumn term, Year 13 were busy revising, preparing to sit their AS level resit examinations. These were the exams that they would have sat in the Summer term. They’d worked so hard in Year 12 that we wanted them to have the opportunity to apply all of that effort and sit the papers they’d missed. On Thursday, 17th December, the results were in and there were some fantastic grades and some very proud students and teachers. The students were able to compare their exam grades with their summer predictions and a total of 28 grades increased! One student, Ahmed, prepared so well that all three of his subject grades increased. In addition, there were 17 ‘A’ grades that stayed up at the top grade, including one student, Jaydyn, maintaining all three of his grade As. Congratulations to our Year 13s and I hope you agree that the extra work was worth it.”
