Cathedral Carol Service

Over 160 pupils took part in our spectacular Carol Service at Manchester Cathedral on Wednesday 14th December. The service featured our choirs and senior musical ensembles led by our Director of Music Mrs Madden and the music team, and included a wide variety of genres and styles from Praetorius to Gospel, Steel Pans to Vaughan Williams, Vivaldi to traditional carols. Many thanks to our Chaplain Rev Dr Birkinshaw and our excellent readers who helped to bring the true meaning of Christmas to life. Thank you also to our special guests Mrs Diane Hawkins, Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester, Mr Terry Hart, Acting Deputy Director of Education, Diocese of Manchester, The Very Revd Rogers Govender, Dean of Manchester Cathedral and Revd Canon Nigel Ashworth, Canon Pastor. Thank you to all the Trinity governors, staff and families who supported the event and most of all to our wonderful performers who made it such a great success.
