Comic Relief

Head of House, Mr Cater, tells us more:

“To celebrate Comic Relief this year, the House Leaders hosted its first ever Best Joke Competition! 44 Hopeful Trinity students contributed their funniest joke and a donation to Comic Relief. Our Year 11 House Captains whittled 44 submissions down to 18 finalists based on how funny, witty, creative or original the joke was.

The live event took place with Trinity Students buying tickets from the Credit Shop with their hard earned credits that were turned into a cash donation. In the end, Daniel in Year 7 won the accolade of Trinity’s Best Joke (see image on the right), Jacob in Year 7 came second and Firdaous in Year 8 took third place.

Thanks to the generous donations from Trinity students and the wider community, we raised a fantastic £150 for the Charity. Please enjoy a selection of jokes from the event on the next page.
