Culture Day
On Friday, 18th July, we celebrated by having a Culture Day in school, and students were given the opportunity to wear clothing that reflected and represented their culture.
Teacher of History, Ms Corcoran, tells us all about how her Year 7 form group celebrated the day:
“The form came dressed in beautiful traditional clothing, including Chunni, Qipao, Gele, football kits from around the world and Shalwar Kameez. Our students looked vibrant and proud
as they showcased their heritage. We enjoyed a delicious spread featuring Beef Suya, Plantain Crisps, and Argentinean Chipas, while learning fascinating cultural facts about Cameroon and Nigeria through an engaging presentation.
The celebrations during form time were topped off by Nora, Praise, Awesome, and Victoria, who treated us to a wonderful Culture Day dance performance. What a fantastic start to Culture Day at Trinity CE High School!”
