Duke of Edinburgh Award training
Mr Kirsten led and trained pupils for our Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award last Friday. Students hiked for six hours learning various navigational and leadership skills. These skills will be required when they independently navigate through the British lowlands for their Bronze award expedition section.
Students remained in good spirits during the rain, which created a very muddy environment. Luckily, their perseverance was later rewarded with some sunshine. Students made their way back to the minibuses putting their new skills to the test whilst being supervised by our staff.
