Enhancing School Safety – CCTV
At Trinity, the safety and wellbeing of our students are always our top priority. As part of our ongoing commitment to safeguarding, we are expanding our CCTV provision by installing two new cameras in the circulation areas outside the boys’ and girls’ toilets.
We want to reassure you that:
- Cameras will not be placed inside toilet cubicles – only in the open areas leading in and out of the facilities.
- The aim is to prevent anti-social behaviour – helping us to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all students.
- Footage will be securely stored and accessed only by designated senior staff if required.
To provide full transparency, we have included photos showing the camera views, so you can see exactly what is covered. These images demonstrate that students’ privacy remains fully protected, while also ensuring a safer environment for all.
This decision has been made with great care to balance privacy with safeguarding, and we believe it will contribute to a safer and more positive school experience for all students. If you have any questions or would like further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact me in school.
