Faraday Challenge

From Course Director for KS3 Science, Ms Walker:

“Last month, six of our top young scientists from Year 8 attended a Faraday Challenge Day, competing against other local schools. Their task was to design and create a prototype of something to help children who are in hospital. The pupils showed great creativity and worked well in collaboration as a team. They designed a solar-powered toy bear which could give children messages from parents. Whilst they did not win, their final presentation was excellent and rated highly by the judge. Well done to Jageer, Erika, Desirae, Sally, Esther and Georgina.”
