Harvest Appeal
From Head of House, Mr Cater:
“The first of our charity appeals was launched in our House assemblies this week. Once again, we have partnered with Manchester South Central Food Bank. This is a charity that supports those who are most in need in our local community.
Last year, the school community made a generous donation. Through your kindness, food donations amounted to an incredible 1,400 meals. This made such a positive impact in the local community, showing that our Trinity Value of Empathy and Compassion is strong within our school.
Heidi, the project manager spoke to students in assembly and explained that Trinity’s donations are crucial, especially in the current economic climate and explained which items are most in need. These include long life milk, cereals, tinned food, tea bags and sealed toiletries. Please prioritise these items if you are able to do so.
Students can bring in non-perishable food items from Monday 23rd September to Monday 14th October. For every item brought in, students are rewarded for their kindness with one credit per item and one house point. Thank you in advance for your support.”
