Manchester Buzz Awards Nomination

At Trinity Sixth Form, we are very proud of one of our students, John, who is in Year 13. Last year, John helped to save the life of a member of the public on his way home, which showed us all what an exceptional young man he is.

John is a wonderful student. He is very academic and has received offers from university to study medicine. His motivation for studying medicine comes from his family background. John is a young carer for his youngest sister and has supported both his parents and siblings during medical treatments over the years.

Based on the above, John’s Head of Year, Ms Cotterell, nominated him for a Manches-ter Buzz Award and he was shortlisted for the final and was invited with Ms Cotterell and his parents to the awards event on 1st May 2025. John sadly didn’t win the final award, but we wanted to share with you all the wonderful and inspiring story. Congratulations to John!
