Manchester Family Hubs

The Local Authority have shared the following information with Manchester schools about the support that families can receive from the Manchester Family Hubs:

Manchester’s Family Hubs support families from a child’s conception until they reach 19, or up to 25 if they have a special educational need and/or a disability (SEND). There are currently four Family Hubs:

• Woodville (Cheetham and Crumpsall)
• Longsight (Longsight and Ardwick)
• Gorton Sacred Heart (Gorton, Abbey Hey and Openshaw)
• Crossacres (Wythenshawe)

How Family Hubs can support your families:

A digital offer for families through the Manchester Family Hub website mcrfamilyhubs.com
Support for all parents and carers: healthy lifestyles, parenting, food support, education etc.
A range of support all under one roof: homework clubs, volunteering / work experience opportunities, help to use the internet, and targeted support.
Information and advice: help to apply for school places, after school and holiday schemes, information and advice for families with children with SEND, benefit advice etc.
Activities for different ages: throughout the day, including evenings and weekends, peer support groups, regular fun events, and informal opportunities to meet other families.
