Manchester Young Carers Award

Miss Laming, Student Services Manager, and Dr Chard, Deputy Head and Co-Head, tell us more:

“We are proud to announce that Trinity has been awarded the Manchester Young Carers Award, presented to us by Kelly Hockaday, Young Carers Operational Lead at Manchester City Council. At  Trinity we are proud of our Young Carers and what they do, and over the last school year we have been working towards achieving the award. We have developed a young carers policy which is available on the website and ave attended events put on for young carers. Before half term we sent home the ‘MyPlan’ for families to complete and return to school, to ensure that we are giving our  young carers the support they need in school. We will be having regular young carer drop in sessions in school and hope to attend more events this year. If you have any questions about Young  Carers at Trinity, please contact Student Services.”
