Mock Interviews

From Head of KS4, Mr Cann:

“On Tuesday 14th January, we were delighted to welcome a range of employers to school for our annual Year 11 ‘mock interview’ day. Representatives on the day included Santander,  Wilmott Dixon, Network Rail, Essence Media and NatWest.

The day is designed to give students a ‘low stakes’ interview experience. They can use the feedback given to support them as they prepare for upcoming interviews to secure their Year 12  courses. This will have been the first time that most students will have encountered an interview scenario and the need to ‘sell themselves’ to an unknown person.

Our visitors were incredibly positive about their encounters with our students, with one even commentating that he would have happily employed one of the students he met if they were  old enough.”
