Musical Success

From Director of Music, Mrs Madden:

“We continue to celebrate the amazing achievements of our Trinity musicians and would like to congratulate Miles Year 13 (sax), Raj Year 11, Shivam Year 11, Phoebe Year 9 (guitar) and William Year 8 (bass guitar) who have all been awarded places to study at the RNCM’s Young Artist’s programme on Saturdays, supported by SONY music. They receive professional industry-standard tuition and are placed in bands which perform at inspiring venues such as Band on the Wall throughout the year – we can’t wait to see their names in lights! We would also like to congratulate Vinchy Year 12 (oboe) and Josh Year 11 (double bass) who have retained their places on the prestigious Junior Royal Northern College of Music’s classical conservatoire programme. Students at JRNCM receive instrumental tuition alongside orchestral and chamber music experience, and classes such as theory and composition. We are very fortunate to have these opportunities on our doorstep and proud that so many Trinity students are embracing them.”
