Congratulations to Year 12 student, Irene, who spent her summer holidays representing Great Britain in the Eurobasket Championships in Turkey. Irene captained the U16 team to a historic bronze medal and a promotion to Division A – this is a first for a GB women’s team! Irene played outstandingly during the tournament, and was the player with the most game high points, putting in 31 points in one game. Well done Irene!
