Remembrance Acts of Worship

This week, we marked Remembrance by gathering together on three occasions. Live assemblies were led by our Drama department, Choir and musicians, including a dramatic presentation set to ‘We Will Remember them’, followed by praying together for peace and singing ‘Abide With Me’. On Thursday, forms engaged with a video assembly, including readings of ‘In Flanders Fields’ and a ‘Litany of Remembrance’, as well as information from the Trinity community about family who have served in the armed forces – all set to music from our School Orchestra. Finally, at 10:45am on Thursday, the whole school community stopped for ‘The Ode to Remembrance’ followed by ‘The Last Post’ and held a minute’s silence.
