Remembrance Poems
Sticking with the theme of ‘remembrance’, Head of English, Mr Stoker, tells us about a writing competition:
“Last week, KS3 students in English wrote poems to mark Remembrance Day. This is part of a series of writing competitions called the Trinity Wordsmith Anthology. Every half-term, students have the opportunity to enter writing into a competition linked to the Trinity Together calendar of events. The winner of this week’s event was Joelle in Mr Howson’s Year 8 English class who wrote beautifully about the theme of remembrance. Congratulations Joelle.” You can read a copy of Joelle’s poem below.
