Sixth Form ‘Live Lounge’ Event

Director of Music, Mrs Madden, tells us more:

“Earlier this half term, we held our annual Sixth Form Live Lounge event and were treated to a wonderful evening of performances by our talented Sixth Form singers and musicians. The Sixth  Form building was transformed with fairy lights, soft lamps and plants to create a relaxed, informal atmosphere. With stunning performances on guitar, piano, violin and vocals, the audience was  captivated by the harmonies, improvisations and impressive solos, and often moved to tears by emotional rendition of songs by Adele, Amy Winehouse, Billie Eilish, the Cranberries and more. The Sixth Form singers performed a beautiful close-harmony version of Grow as we Go by Ben Platt to conclude the evening. Thanks go to Daniel B who hosted the event so professionally, and  congratulations to Ella, Claire, Farida, Nathan, Eliezer, David, Sophia, Richie, Joy, Anique, Leila, Chara, Vinchy and Rubi for a fabulous evening of entertainment.”
