The students discussed the impact of social distancing measures on vulnerable people such as the elderly, and expressed concern about them not seeing their family or getting the right support. An issue that arose was mental health. Students discussed the impact of staying inside, unemployment and job insecurity, and debated the effect this would have on people’s mental health.”
