Sporting Updates

P.E Assistant, Mr Bryan, tells us the most recent sporting news:

“Another good week for our sporting students in both football and basketball:

• The Year 11 boys’ football team had a very close match against Co-op Academy. Both teams showed great passion, desire and flair, with Trinity just edging it 2 – 1.
• Our Under-16 girls’ basketball team started their season with a win. We beat Our Lady’s 50 – 9, showing hard work, determination and skill at the basket.
• Meanwhile, the Under-16 girls’ football team, pictured on the right, showed why they have won the Manchester Cup 4 years in a row. In the quarter finals they showed their class and were very clinical beating Barlow 9 – 0.”
