Sports Awards Evening

Last Wednesday, we hosted our annual Sports Awards Evening, which recognised the success, dedication and talent of our students for their sporting achievements. We were delighted to welcome a special guest of honour to present awards to students, Joe Thompson, an ex-professional footballer who gave an inspirational speech to the audience about his life and career. Following the event Joe tweeted the following, “I came to inspire you, but you left me inspired. To see a school as a collective achieving so many sporting awards not just locally but also nationally was incredible. Congratulations to all the aspiring students.”
