The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe

Head of Drama, Mr Cowie, tells us more:

“Trinity CE High School welcomed audiences to Narnia in our magical production of ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’. The cast and crew of ninety-eight students (pictured above) delivered a fantastic performance across three nights, bringing the energy and enthusiasm that Trinity is known for. From the icy wiles of the White Witch, to the majesty of Aslan, students brought the magical characters of C.S. Lewis’ classic novel to life. Audiences were greeted from the door by anxious and fearful Narnian’s and helped lost children fleeing the blitz before they even sat down. They then joined the Pevensies on their magical journey into Narnia and their battle against the fearsome magic of the White Witch. Trinity’s production was a testament to the resilience, hard work and talent of their students, with lights and sound run by a student tech team and crew and stage hands managed ably by our fantastic sixth formers. The performances were truly three nights to remember.”
