Women in STEM Event

Teacher of Science, Ms Kirkman, tells us more:

“Before half term, a group of excited Year 7 girls embarked on an inspiring trip to Apadmi for a Women in STEM event. Throughout the day, they explored the incredible impact women have made in the tech industry and took part in hands-on activities designed to sharpen their problem-solving and coding skills. The event was a fantastic opportunity for our students to connect with female tech professionals, gain valuable insights into the industry, and discover the many exciting career paths available in technology. The girls worked brilliantly throughout the day, demonstrating enthusiasm, teamwork and determination- they were a credit to the school!”
