Wood Street Mission Award

Head of Tiger House and Charity Co-ordinator, Mr Cater:

“I am pleased to share with the school community that Trinity High School has been acknowledged and honoured with the title of Wood Street Mission Hero 2026!

Jess Morrison, Community Fundraiser visited our School Council meeting to present the award and explain to our student body the importance of their donations. Jess explained the reasoning for her nomination: “I put Trinity CofE High School forward for nomination in recognition of your dedicated support for many years in our various appeals through gift in kind and fundraising initiatives. We truly appreciate your support throughout the years“.

Jess also shared with us the alarming statistic of 93,000 children currently living in difficult social and economic circumstances in Manchester and Salford alone.

The whole school community can be proud that the donations through the Christmas Gift Appeal help to provide children in our local area Living Hope for positive change and a brighter future. Thank you to the whole school community for your compassion and empathy in supporting Wood Street Mission and the charity work that they do within our community.”
