KS4 Music Recital Evening

From Director of Music, Mrs Madden:

“We enjoyed a wonderful evening on Wednesday 4th March from our Year 10 and 11 students who wowed us with their musical talents. 20 students performed solos or duets to a small and supportive audience, celebrating their progress, confidence, talent and excellence. Some of the performances will count towards their GCSE exam and for others, it was simply a chance to share their talents and skills in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

Performances ranged from piano, bass and electric guitar and drum kit to woodwind, strings and brass, not to mention three different types of singing: classical, pop and music theatre! Congratulations to all the performers and thank you to the music teachers who helped to prepare them.”
