Y12 at the Theatre

“On Thursday 4th June, the Year 12 Drama students visited The Royal Exchange in Manchester to watch Even These Things, written by Rory Mullarkey and directed by James Macdonald. The show explores the history of Manchester and the remaking of the city across three different centuries. The students were a fantastic representation of our school at a performance which brought the Manchester community together. The audience shared moments of laughter and reflected collectively on the history of our city.

It was the students’ first experience of seeing a performance at this venue and they were all blown away by the structure of the building and its use of space. It was a brilliant evening that deepened their understanding of our city’s history.”
