Y7 Arts Week

“Year 7 enjoyed a fantastic week of creative activities during Arts Week. We are so proud of the students for their enthusiasm and hard work in such a wide variety of new experiences! They explored new skills with professional experts as well as making new friends. Throughout the week, our students excelled at Ceramics, Baking, DJing, Band Skills, Music Theatre, Circus Skills, Music and Media, Stop Motion Animation and Drama. Every group also enjoyed a trip to Z-Arts in Hulme, where they took part in Drumming, Dancing and Spoken Word workshops, as well as playing on the park. Several students also visited Manchester Art Gallery.”

On the last day, we were delighted that so many pupils demonstrated their new dancing, acting, singing and musical skills at the Celebration Showcase event, as well as sharing photos and videos of their work. Stars of the Week were awarded to 24 students for embracing the opportunities and demonstrating Trinity Together values all week. We hope the Year 7s have made memories for life and discovered new interests and creative flair. Congratulations to all the children and thank you to the staff and visiting tutors who helped make it such a brilliant week.
