Pastoral teams next year
As we look ahead to the next academic year, we wanted to update parents and carers on our pastoral team arrangements for 2026/27.
We have moved to a model where our Heads of Year rotate through different year groups, bringing their experience and fresh perspective to new cohorts. At the same time, our non-teaching Assistant Heads of Year will remain with the same year group, ensuring strong continuity for students and families. We believe this gives us the best of both: experienced teaching leadership alongside consistent day-to-day pastoral support.
The pastoral teams for 2026/27 will be:
|
Year Group |
Head of Year |
Assistant Head of Year |
|
7 |
Mr Pringle |
Mr Ramsden |
|
8 |
Mr O’Connor |
Ms Clarke |
|
9 |
Ms Davies |
Mr Sewell |
|
10 |
Mr Zamir |
Mr Simpson |
|
11 |
Mr Tran |
Ms Mtambalika |
All of our Heads of Year are experienced teachers who know the school well and are looking forward to working with their new year groups. In particular, Mr O’Connor and Mr Zamir are looking forward to getting to know their new students, parents and carers over the coming year.
We would also like to reassure parents of current Year 9 students that Mr Carter will continue to be part of the Trinity community next year. Although he will no longer be Head of Year, he will remain with us as a teacher in our high performing RE team. We are very pleased that he will continue to support our students, not least the considerable footballing talent in his current year group!
Pastoral care remains central to school life, and we are confident that these arrangements will provide students with the support, guidance and encouragement they need as they move into the next stage of their school journey.
