Young Writers Festival Trip

“Fifteen of our Year 7 writers travelled all the way to the prestigious University of Cambridge to attend this year’s First Story Young Writers Festival with over 300 other students from across the country. They met author A.M. Dassu and Jack was on the panel of four students who interviewed her in front of the assembled attendees. The students also worked on writing and performance with poet Sophie Harham, and were given a tour of Newnham College by a Cambridge student ambassador, and then closed the day with a showcase of readings.”
