African Caribbean Care Group Visit
Ms Ripley, Lead Practitioner for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, tells us more: “I recently accompanied three Year 11 House Captains, Chelsea, Jemima and Caleb to the African Caribbean Care Group in Hulme. The centre provides a thriving meeting place for adults of African Caribbean heritage to meet, socialise and access community healthcare. The House Captains wanted to mark Trinity’s 40th year by speaking to community members who remember the school and the community at that time. Many remembered the school being built and had grandchildren who attended. The care is a thriving part of the community, housing a foodbank, activities for community members, work experience for students and a holistic therapy centre.”
