Bike Shelters

Whilst we are on the topic of bikes…over the Easter holidays, we saw the installation of a new bike shelter at the front of school for our students.
We were delighted to receive funding towards the cost of the bike shelters as part of an ‘active travel grant’ from Transport for Greater Manchester. The grant was available for up to 20 schools across the region, with the aim being to reduce local traffic congestion and to support COVID-19 recovery through increased walking and cycling to school. We look forward to seeing the second bike shelter which is due to be installed on the school site within the next few weeks.
