Black Lawyers Matter Programme
The Black Lawyers Matter programme is continuing into 2020 for our Year 10 boys. Last Monday, the boys took part in a workshop run by Clive Palmer, who now works for the Department of Education, but previously had a successful career in the probation service. Clive spoke to the boys about building resilience, reflecting on how their actions can cause reactions (both positive and negative), and finally about tackling negative stereotypes that they may face. The boys were really engaged in the session and took away many valuable tips that they can apply to their last few months of Year 10. Clive will continue to work with the students for Year 10 and 11.
