Black Lawyers Matter Project

Ms Coxon and Dr Alnuamaani give us an update on the ‘Black Lawyers Matter’ project: “Last week we took 20 of our Year 9 Boys to an ‘Explore Law’ day at the University of Manchester as part of our Black Lawyers Matter project. The boys participated in several workshops which helped them to practice skills like negotiation, debating and most importantly hard work! The day finished with a panel of black professionals who were able to give the boys advice about how to succeed. The advice given was inspirational and many of the boys asked fantastic questions. To top off a fantastic day, Trinity swept the floor with the awards given, winning all three prizes for exceptional contributions during the day. Well done to our boys and we look forward to more events like this through the project next year!”
