Celebrating World Book Day

From LRB Supervisor, Ms Berry:

“The most exciting day in our library’s calendar is World Book Day! We had a variety of activities going on, from a successful bookmark making session, another free book fair, and to our student librarians finishing up their amazing zines! Zines are small, self-published books about a topic of interest, usually something weird and wacky!

We also received a generous donation of beautiful hardback non-fiction books for students to enjoy from Manchester Council including ‘A Visual Compendium’ which will definitely be well loved!

Students are also able to receive a free book with their World Book Day token that can be used at major supermarkets and bookshops.
