Debate Mate

Teacher of English, Ms Brierley-Rimmer, tells us more:

“Congratulations to Trinity’s debating competitors for an amazing competition in the Debate Mate Cup on Thursday 24th of April. All three teams had great success over the course of three rounds of debate, where they discussed complex issues with schools from across Greater Manchester. In particular, our Trinity A team won the entire competition – winning three debates as well as the grand final that was done in front of the whole Greater Manchester cohort! All students showed respect, curiosity and confidence in their debates. Well done for representing Trinity so well, you made us all proud!”
